How we work

Four steps, no surprises.

The same process runs every project, at every size. You see it here, on the package card you buy, and again at checkout — the same words, three times, because it's operational, not a marketing line.

Discovery & scope

We confirm what you actually need — pages, products, languages, integrations — and agree the fixed price and timeline in writing before anything is billed beyond the deposit.

Timeline
Within the first week.
Payment
30% deposit, due to start.

Design & build

We design and build against the agreed scope. You see progress, not a black box — a review point partway through, and one formal sign-off before development locks the design in.

Timeline
The bulk of the project timeline (2–8 weeks depending on package).
Payment
40% at design sign-off.
Wall of process notes and printed drafts, duotone, documenting a project in progress.

Review & refine

Your revision rounds happen here — the exact number is stated on your package, so there's no ambiguity about what's included and what's extra.

Timeline
Runs inside the same weeks as step 02 for most packages.
Payment
No separate charge — covered by the 40% already paid.

Launch & handover

We launch, hand over source files, domain and hosting access, and a short care guide. You own everything from this point.

Timeline
A single launch day, plus a brief post-launch check.
Payment
30% before handover.

Discovery isn't a form. It's a short call or written brief exchange where we ask the questions that actually change scope — who has to approve the design, what content exists already, whether bilingual matters from day one. Getting this right in week one is why step 02 doesn't drift.

Design sign-off is a real gate, not a formality. Once you approve it, development builds against a fixed target — that's what makes the 40%/30% split fair in both directions: you know what you're paying for, we know what we're building.

What we need from you

  • Any existing brand assets — logo, colours, fonts — if you have them.
  • Site content: text and images, or tell us and we'll scope copywriting separately.
  • One person who can approve the design at sign-off — decisions by committee slow every project down.
  • Domain and hosting access, or we'll help you set it up from scratch.
  • Time for two short calls — kickoff and design review.
